THE FARM & PRODUCER
Fazenda IP is a historic estate in Carmo de Minas, Minas Gerais, sitting between 950 and 1,200 masl, an ideal altitude for high-quality coffee. The property covers 720 hectares, with around 300 dedicated to coffee.
Owned and managed by Luiz Paulo Dias Pereira, the farm combines tradition and innovation. The Pereira family acquired the land in 1967, and under Luiz Paulo’s leadership, the agricultural area expanded significantly in the 1970s, shaping the farm into what it is today.
Quality has always been the focus. Investments in modern processing, long-term agronomy, and post-harvest improvements have positioned Fazenda IP as a reference in the region. Alongside coffee, the farm also grows bananas, corn and soy as part of a diversified agricultural model.
Fazenda IP holds certifications such as Certifica Minas and AAA Nespresso, reflecting its high standards in cultivation and processing.

THE COFFEE
This lot is a Natural Yellow Bourbon from Fazenda IP, delivered as green coffee in 60 kg bags. The farm produces Naturals, Pulped Naturals and a range of fermented processes, with altitude contributing to slow, even cherry maturation.
Yellow Bourbon Naturals from Fazenda IP are known for a rich body and classic Brazilian sweetness, often showing notes of chocolate, almond, brown sugar and praline. This profile performs well both as espresso and in milk-based beverages.
Thanks to consistent quality controls at origin, this coffee works for specialty roasts as well as for high-quality blends, depending on your market positioning.

THE VARIETAL | YELLOW BOURBON
Yellow Bourbon is a well-regarded Brazilian cultivar known for sweetness, balance, and a clean flavour profile. At Fazenda IP, it plays a central role in the farm’s effort to elevate Brazilian specialty coffee.
This varietal typically offers mild nuttiness and chocolate notes, with a smooth, approachable cup. As green coffee, it gives roasters flexibility: depending on roast approach, you can highlight either deeper chocolate tones or softer sweet-nutty characteristics.
THE PROCESSING METHOD
This lot is a fully Natural-processed Yellow Bourbon. In Naturals, cherries dry with the fruit intact, enhancing body, sweetness and flavour complexity.
At Fazenda IP, Natural processing is a core method, supported by strong quality protocols. Lots scoring above 80 points are rewarded internally, while defects trigger corrective actions, a system that ensures consistent specialty-grade output.
